Tras las navidades, vuelvo con este trabajo de fotografía en el que me he centrado en un concepto: la ilusión de los niños. Justo en estas fechas, los más pequeños se ilusionan todavía más y esa ilusión la llegan a contagiar a los más mayores, sobre todo a los padres.  Porque ellos llegan a hacer que volvamos a sentir esos sentimientos de cuando éramos niños. Por lo tanto, también se convierten en nuestros maestros y nos enseñan a vivir esa ilusión, inocencia e imaginación que les caracteriza. Así he titulado este trabajo "Maestros de la ilusión", porque ellos llegan a hacer que volvamos a sentir esa ilusión y esa emoción en cualquier momento del año (especialmente en Navidad).

After the holidays, I return with this photography project in which I focused on one concept: the illusion of children. Children, parents and everybody feel this illusion and happiness. Children become our teachers and they teach us to live this illusion, innocence and imagination that characterizes them. So I titled this project "Teachers of Illusion" because they come to turn to feel the excitement and the emotion at any time of year (especially at Christmas).

Empiezo el año de la mejor manera posible. Con esta ilustración para el cartel del concierto de Spheniscidae y de I didn´t see the car en la sala "El perro de la parte de atrás del coche" (Madrid) el día 26 de enero, organizado por Retrovisor.

Spheniscidae es un grupo que apunta fuerte, procedente del panorama musical valenciano. Señal de ello es su presencia en varias listas de lo mejor del 2012 como en la de Mondosonoro (Comunidad Valenciana) y en la de La Gramola de Keith (Comunidad Valenciana). Os recomiendo que les veáis en directo y que escuchéis todas las canciones que conforman "La historia  inempezable". Letras maravillosas que dicen mucho mensaje en cada canción materializadas en la gran voz de Íñigo Soler y melodías muy muy cuidadas en su estructura e instrumentación. Me dedicaría a escribir más sobre ellos en esta entrada, pero prefiero que escuchéis sus canciones :). Este es su bandcamp (también están en Spotify):

Spheniscidae is a band from the Valencian music scene. They are on some lists of the best of 2012. For example: of Mondosonoro (Valencia) and  La Gramola de Keith (Valencia). I recommend you see them live and listen to all the songs that make their album named "La historia inempezable". Wonderful lyrics with message in each song embodied in the great voice of Iñigo Soler and very wonderful melodies in its structure and instrumentation. Identities (I)

¡Hola a todos!

Después de este tiempo sin actualizar el blog, os presento un proyecto especial para mi. Empezó al darme cuenta de la mirada de las personas, de lo diferentes que llegamos a ser pero somos lo mismo, personas. Personas con un mundo, con una historia y que nos comunicamos más de lo que creemos (ya de entrada con nuestra mirada, nuestra manera de vestir...).

Me he lanzado a la calle con mi cámara para captar esas miradas, esas personas, esas historias, esas identidades y a la vez, aprender algo de cada una de ellas.Por eso he decidido titular en inglés este proyecto como "Identities" ("identitades").

Por ahora os quiero dar las gracias de la subida de visitas en facebook y espero que sigamos más :)

También os doy las gracias por la buena acogida que está teniendo en las redes este trabajo y esto me sirve de ánimo para seguir captando miradas e historias de cada identidad en una imagen y en una frase que le acompaña.

Alguna de las fotos están hechas en digital con la Canon 550d y otras en analógico con la Nikon FM2 y el carrete Ilford HP5.

Hi all!
After this time without updating in this blog, I present a special project for me. It began because i´m looking to people's eyes. We are different but also we are the same, people. People with a world, with a history and we communicate more than we think with our eyes, the way we dress ...).
I have taken to the streets with my camera to capture those looks, those people, those stories, those identities yet, learn something from each of them.
So I decided to title this project in English as "Identities".
For now I want to thank the rise of facebook and visits more :)

Hoy os comparto uno de mis últimos trabajos (uno de esos en los que me siento muy orgullosa e ilusionada). Se trata de esta ilustración titulada "The girl kissed by a bird" en la que se pueden ver algunos cambios en mi estilo. He podido colaborar en el cartel para los Retroacústicos, organizado por Retrovisor Música, donde el próximo 21 de noviembre "Todo", "Greg Gobel" y "Tucán" ofrecerán tres acústicos en Sirocco Lounge, Madrid.
Así que la gente de la capital podrá verlo con sus propios ojos y estoy muy feliz.
Os comparto algunas canciones que podéis escuchar los que podáis pasar por la Sirocco el 21 de noviembre :).

Today I share one of my latest works (one of those in which I am very proud and excited). This illustration is titled "The girl kissed by a bird" in which you can see some changes in my style. I've been working on the poster for Retroacústicos organized by Retrovisot Música, where on 21 November, "Todol", "Greg Gobel" and "Toucan" Sirocco offered three acoustic Lounge, Madrid.
So people in the capital can see with their own eyes and I am very happy.

Empiezo la semana enseñándoos mi rincón durante estos meses, mi taller en el que estoy creando muchas cosas nuevas. Pronto el scanner echará bastante fuego y tengo cosas anteriores por compartir también. He decidido enfrascarme un poco porque he ido experimentando cambios como podéis ver en una pequeña muestra. Espero que os guste y muchas gracias por vuestra paciencia y por vuestro apoyo.

Aprovechando que estamos en el equinocio de otoño, no os iba a dejar sin la playlist que os tenía preparada para la estación del año en la que estamos.
Por otro lado, como podéis ver, estoy experimentando en la fotografía y en la ilustración. Así que este es el resultado de una de mis ideas en la que he combinado fotografía e ilustración sobre un espejo con base de maquillaje.
