El pasado 19 de Octubre colaboré en el evento creado por el Dr. Valverde y su mujer Giogianna Fajardo, en Mallorca. Un concierto en el que participaron varios artistas con su música (como Biel Alimanya, Doble o Nada, Wercomin...) y algunos pintores con sus obras para subastar (como Marta Font, Miquel Aguiló, etc.). La cantidad recaudada iba destinada al tratamiento de Mame Fama, una niña de 14 años de Senegal que tiene un tumor en la cara y no puede costearse el tratamiento. Es un caso impactante, ya que se le ha deformado la cara y hay muchísimos casos como éste en Senegal. Así que entre todos pudimos aportar nuestro granito de arena.
Las piezas que aporté fueron "Ode to agaporni" y "Flying high". Gracias a la generosidad de las dos personas que pudieron llevarse estas dos obras a su hogar.
Estoy muy contenta de haber podido participar en este proyecto tan bonito y espero colaborar en muchas causas de esta manera.
On October 19th I´ve worked at the event created by Dr. Valverde and his wife Giogianna Fajardo, in Mallorca. A concert in which some artists with their music (like Biel Alimanya, Doble o Nada, Wercomin, etc.) and other with their artworks & paintings (like Marta Font, Miquel Aguiló, etc.). The reason was for the treatment of Mame Fama, a 14-year child of Senegal. She has a tumor on her face and she can´t afford the treatment. It´s a shocking case and there are many cases like this in Senegal.
The pieces that I brought were "Ode to agaporni" and "Flying High". Thanks to the generosity of two people who could take these two illustrations to their home.
I´m very happy to have been involved in this project and I´m looking forward to work on many causes like this.
